TATA Steel Richard Burton 10k 2021
07 November 2021
The 39th Tata Steel Richard Burton 10k And The Runtech Kevin Webber Mini Miler Events
Entries for these races, due to take place on 7th November 2021, are now open
Entries for Tata steel employees and runtech employees will open 24.09.2021
NOTE: Club entries are for affiliated athletic clubs
EVENT DAY TEAM: is for non athletics clubs groups ie.rugby clubs, football clubs, boxing clubs or any charitable teams groups, pubs etc .
Our main sponsors Tata Steel and Runtech continue their support of this iconic race , alongside all our other sponsors and we are very grateful for this as the race would be very difficult to stage otherwise.
As the situation has changed over the last few months, decisions have been made in conjunction with the local authorities and Welsh/British athletic that has allowed us to make the decision to allow the RB10k event to take place adhering to the government guidelines
With all the uncertainty of these unprecedented times, we need to ensure the safety of all our participants, supporters and volunteers. With this in mind there will be many controls in place to ensure this and are subject to change in order to adapt to any safety concerns that may be highlighted.
We anticipate that we will be unable to have a mass start and we aim to have an elite start of a few hundred which will include potential category winners, followed by waves of pre categorised groups.
To ensure this a predicted finish time will be asked for, when entering and therefore all entrants will be filtered through to the start line that will record accurate race times, with the use of chip timing.
We will keep you informed of any changes as and when they occur.
Yours in sport.
